Hrithik's motherly grandfather—celebrated director-producer
J. Om Prakash—first introduced his much-loved grandson on-screen at age 6 in
the enormously victorious Aasha (1980), by clandestinely having his camera team
movie lacking the small boy's information as he danced impulsively while
'visiting Grandpa' on Grandpa's film place.
'The cry was to be try on Jeetendra. Hrithik was on the
sets, and he liked the break music very much and in progress dancing. I had
asked my cameraperson and team to be complete. I asked Hrithik if he liked the
song, and he said, "Yes, Deda, it is beautiful music." I replayed the
music and he in progress dancing, and we shot it with no his acquaintance. When
the music got over, the whole building highly praised imaginatively. The lingering
part of the music was to be blast in the identical way with Jeetu. After
Jeetu's shot was in excess of, he came to me and said, "For God's sake
don't shoot a solitary extra shot in this movie with this boy, or else the spectators
will howl my act!" That was a comment that came from Jeetu.
